Above the landscape: the light

Does anyone look beyond the landscape?

Luxury and good fortune our eyes have surrounded. By the sight of it ,
All in glitter and in abundant.

A bed of lust , where all the nobles come and feast and filled their bellies.

Singing and dancing I heard from the horizon, gouging for today with no regard for tomorrow. Marrying and giving away in marriage; this they do all day long.

For I wondered where the end meets? If when the music ever stops, what happens next? What lies beneath the surface?

I have seen a city, loved by many with glossy festivities by the day, nevertheless in the night, death was its name.

Sodom cries out from the grave! His children are gone. Repent all you simple ones! Learn from me you wicked degenerates!

Drink not the cup of abomination,  for it will give you the buzz in the morning and eat up your intestines in the evening.

I also heard of a man who once was my neighbor, he built tents among the Plains. He stood alone and walked in light.  Given thanks to His God.Though he was a stranger.

In the landscape, there lies his tent far from the rotten city . For he longed for a City whose builder was God.
