Scattered Seeds

Just to be “part of” something is merely touching the surface of fidelity. Whether dealing with people, a goal or a cause, the place below the landmark which we shunned away from is the focal point. The nastiest neighborhoods, the stubbornness of the redheaded stepchild, down to the dirt, the abyss, the bottom of the barrel, the place we ought not to visit is always the place where the harvest is. What separates those with hypothesis statements to the realist is that there are those willing to endure the awful smell, the excruciating pain, and the disappointments and still keep the faith. These people will resurface with a better perspective. But the person that tackles many things at once is far different than someone committed to one thing. There are only scattering seeds around the earth while no one really cultivates it.
