Kept

Kept from falling, a wick that is frail, the days of apostasy draws near, the rapture awaits. Who are those that have fallen? Isn't it the angels from above, now kept in dungeon waiting for judgement? A judgement swift and devastating, yet justified.  But those that have been redeemed, the beloved ones still rests on the Master's hand. But to keep those of His own ready for eternity,  the Master will prep them, gives them the assurance as sons who were adopted into the glorious liberty. He preserves them with fire and water, chastening them with rods, wooing them with His love, His promises, yes and yes. Although the sheep sometimes wonder, looking for a greener pasture, the wolves are much welcoming as they taught,  but the Shepherd breaks through, draws the sheep out of the wolves mouth, lays it back in His pasture with the still waters just to wait, kept for eternity, kept forever.
