Looking to the Light

I looked up, I see the lamb that was slain, slain before I was formed in the womb, the Redeemer of  all my wrongs, gone before me, the firstborn of all creation sent out beforehand to go before me to walk the dark valley, the gleam, the light, my hope, my God.
The moment I looked up, the bright light, the pierced gleam, the soul finds rest at last, the longing is over, the days of the past dissipates, the moment is everlasting. The worship, the fountain of life, the  presence that had been with me finally appears. The hands that guided me finally I can hold, the foot that walked beside me finally I can touch, the heart that comforts me finally I rest, the words that gives me  sound counsel finally I hear, the eyes that saw all my pains finally I can gaze. Such overwhelming joy,  such indescribable peace, such inseparable love!
