The Northstar

The Northstar

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed are unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts. - 2 Peter 1:19

My Northstar, how glorious to see you, in all the places, when no light was given, here you came, to give light to them that trust in You.

I am he that has wandered through the night,In the wilderness, I stumbled and fell, there was no light to point me out from my darkness.

But out from the north, came my Northstar, to lead the way out of the grave, I now see you and your splendor, such an illuminating light.

For the first time, my eyes are opened,  I can see things clearly now, and as I look on the top hills, my Northstar is with me and gives out light to all His people.

In the assembly of all the nations, his presence is that of a lighting and his voice like a thunder, yet with a demeanor gentle as a lamb.

How wonderful you are my Northstar, at last the traveller will find his destination, the oppressed will find justice, you are like an oasis in a desert.

My Northstar, your presence is captivating, I have found my resting place, let me fall into your bosom and dwell there forevermore.
