Being a middle child, I had mastered the skill of socializing by either seeking refuge behind my elder sibling or asserting my authority over my younger sister. In essence, I became a master at avoiding conflict. Following instructions was a challenging task for me as it required stepping out of my comfort zone of occupying the middle ground.
However, after being the first one in my family to experience salvation, God took me through various challenges that necessitated leaving my comfort zone and stepping out in faith. I have come to realize that true victory with God cannot be attained by hiding in the safety of our own skin. It requires taking bold steps of faith, and through these challenges, I have been able to achieve great accomplishments.
