Walking out our faith

God's word is filled with vitality and life. When we choose to place our trust in His word, we are making a conscientious decision to walk by faith and not solely by what we can see with our own eyes. But what exactly is faith? Firstly, let me clarify what faith is not. Simply hearing God's word is not enough, faith also involves the action of doing what we hear. On the other hand, performing God's word without truly hearing it is not faith either. Faith, therefore, is the harmonious combination of hearing and doing God's word. This requires us to rely solely on God's promises, rather than just our own senses. Faith is not a perilous move in the dark, but rather an expression of trust in Jesus Christ, who is His word and the second person in the Trinity. By placing our trust in Christ, we are not only accepting His teachings but entrusting our hearts and souls to Him.
